The Notre Dame football team has moved up a spot in this week's AP Poll after their win over Virginia Tech last weekend. Quarterback Ian Book led the team to their sixth win of the season.
Book punched the game winning touchdown with 29 seconds left to play in the game.
Through all the ups and downs this year, Head Coach Brian Kelly is confident in Book, who is maturing in front of our eyes.
"He had to endure difficult week. He’s come through it. He should be loose and excited and have fun. This should be a great launching pad for him," Coach Kelly said.
When the Irish needed it most, Book delivered.
Notre Dame is now 6 - 2 and will take on Duke Saturday night in North Carolina.
