
ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Cobus Creek County Park is inviting the public to spend the night on Friday beginning at 6 p.m.
This overnight experience gives participants the opportunity to try out fire starting, learn about constellations, and enjoy treats over the fire.
Saturday will consist of naturalist-led activities, including learning how to throw an ancient atlatl spear, a nature scavenger hunt, themed hikes and more.
The overnight event will run 6 p.m. on Friday to 1 p.m. on Saturday. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Saturday.
If requested, a limited number of tents are also available for use during the campout.
Cost to attend the overnight event is $15 per camper or $50 per family.
Space is limited and registration is required by Aug. 28.
