It’s a cold and icy morning for the commute. Give yourself at least 5-10 extra minutes for heading out the door. We stay cold throughout the day with highs only making it into the middle 20s. There is a chance for isolated lake effect but most of the day has a mix of sun and clouds. Clouds become mostly cloudy tomorrow as a clipper system moves into the region. Most areas will see a coating of 1-3” of fresh snow.
Skies clear out some for the start of the weekend and temperatures warm up! Highs make it into the upper 30s and some will even top out at 40 on Sunday. A wintry mix moves in by the Sunday evening but looks to dry up for Monday.
