A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Berrien and Cass County until Monday morning due to cold temperatures and the expected lake effect snow through today. Localized snowfall accumulation could add over six inches to what is already on the ground through Monday. Colder temperatures are expected through the rest of Michiana, highs in the upper teens, with wind chill values in the single digits and lower. Overnight, windchill values will likely get into the negative double digits, with snow tapering off for most of our Indiana counties. Soutwest Michigan could see snow into Tuesday. A Cold Weather Advisory will be in effect for all of Michiana starting this evening until Wednesday morning, due to the extremely cold wind chills. Quieter weather is expected past midweek.
Today: Lake effect snow. Decreasing temperatures. High 16.
Tonight: Frigid, snow chance. Low -1.
M.L.K. Jr. Day: Frigid, light snow chance. High 7.
Tuesday: Extremely cold, mostly cloudy. High 3.
