Milder but wetter conditions this weekend
We're tracking more rain to move through Michiana today with wet snow mixing in for some during the morning. The morning commute could be a bit slushy, but most snow accumulation if any will be seen on grass. Strong winds return today with gusts up to 35 mph for most, but up to 45 mph near the lakeshore. It'll be another chilly day with highs topping out in the mid 40's and wind chills expected to stay in the low 30's for much of the day. Lake effect showers will impact the region all day with nasty conditions lasting into tomorrow morning. We'll be able to see some clearing during Wednesday afternoon which will kick off a nicer finish to the week. Seasonable temperatures and sunshine return by Friday, and the weekend will see highs in the low 70's.
Today: Rain showers, potentially some snowflakes. Windy. High 44.
Tonight: Rainy and windy. Low 40.
Wednesday: AM showers, partly cloudy afternoon. Breezy. High 46.
Thursday: AM clouds, partly cloudy afternoon. High 53.
