Collision with vehicle in South Bend delays westbound train Wednesday

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A westbound South Shore Line train was delayed roughly an hour this afternoon after a collision with a vehicle, the railroad company said.
"Westbound Tr 24 is currently stopped in South Bend after a slow-moving train/vehicle collision near the South Bend International Airport," the South Shore Line stated. "No injuries have been reported."
Around 1:50 p.m., the train was cleared to continue.
