Coloma Community Schools are preparing for first day of classes
COLOMA, Mich. - Coloma Community Schools is preparing for the first day back. Here are some things parents and students should know about the new school year.
Bus routes are slightly changed for the first day of school. Coloma schools says to expect delays between 15 and 20 minutes and say students should arrive at their stop 10 minutes before scheduled arrival. There will be a couple of new stops this year.
This year, breakfast will be served for free in the classroom to all students. Lunch is free for K to 12th grade. On half days, students will still get sack lunches.
Students do not have school on Friday or Monday for the Labor Day weekend.
There will be some late starts about twice a month. The first two are September 13th and 27th, two hours later than the usual start day for each individual school.
