Coloma schools bringing in county prosecutor to discuss bullying, phone use

COLOMA, Mich. -- October is National Bullying Prevention Month, and Coloma Community Schools is using this month to teach kids about the importance of school safety, the consequences of bullying, and safe cellphone use.

The Coloma High School Gym will host Berrien County Prosecutor Amy Byrd on Oct. 17 at 1:15 p.m. with both high school and junior high students attending.

"Coloma Community Schools and Berrien County Prosecutor, Amy Byrd are collaborating to bring information surrounding Anti- Bullying and Smart Device to the students at Coloma Community Schools," the school district announced.
