Coloma Schools requiring masks for two weeks

COLOMA, Mich. - Students in Coloma Community Schools are required to wear masks for the first two weeks after the holiday break, the corporation announced in a letter to families on Sunday.

Due to rising COVID-19 cases in the county and out of an abundance of caution, masks will be required across the district from January 3 through 14.

Students must wear masks at school and on the bus.

Visitors, teachers, and staff are required to wear masks inside schools.

The corporation plans to remove the mask protocol on January 18 pending the rate of COVID-19 cases in schools and across the community.
