Coloma student hosting blood drive over spring break

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – A Coloma High School junior is spending her spring break hosting a blood drive set for this Friday.

National Honor Society student Isabella Greenman helped organize a blood drive with Versiti Blood at the North Berrien Fire Station from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 9.

Greenman said her goal is to collect 30 units of blood for Coloma neighbors in need. She said she hopes her classmates and members of the community will help her reach her goal.

The blood drive is one of the many ways students in Coloma Community Schools are involved in their community.
