Colorado signs same-sex civil union bill

Colorado, a state that once banned gay marriage, is now allowing same-sex civil unions.
The Colorado governor signed a bill that gives gay couples new rights. It goes into effect on May 1.
Colorado now joins eight other states that recognize either same-sex civil unions or marriage.
