Colorado wildfire burns more than 3,600 acres

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. -- A wildfire in Colorado has forced more than 11,000 people from their homes in and around Colorado Springs.

The Waldo Canyon Fire started on Saturday has already burned more than 3,600 acres.

Officials say that have contained any of the blazed and say that the fire could consume another 5,000 before they can get it under control.

Officials in Colorado Springs and El Paso County have declared state emergencies making them eligible for state and federal aid.
