PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Comcast is now offering a variety of services to keep people connected in response to COVID-19 precautions. Of these is a new Xfinity WiFi hotspot service that is free for anyone to use, customer or not.

The WiFi service is available for even non-Xfinity Internet customers and a hotspot can be found by visiting their website.

Comcast is also pausing their data limits for 60 days for customers as well as waiving late fees and disconnects during this same window if contacted about not being able to pay a bill.

Announced on March 12, Comcast is offering their low-income package of internet for free for 60 days to customers that qualify and even increased the speed of the program to 25 Mbps downloads and 3 Mbps uploads.
