SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- An event happening in Michiana is connecting youth and adults with disabilities and their families to support services in the community.
Michiana Down Syndrome Family Support and Advocacy Group, in partnership with the Master of Social Work Program at IU South Bend, is hosting a resource fair that will help people with disabilities.
The goal of this free event is to help people with disabilities reach their goals for self-sufficiency and independence.
From 10 a.m. To 1 p.m., there will be over 30 organizations, showcasing the residential, clinical and wellness, and recreational services that are available to individuals, their families, and the professionals who work with them.
