The $3 million dollar challenge grant from the Judd Leighton Foundation will go towards the Main Library renovations set to begin in either November 2019 or the start of 2020. The project is scheduled to take between 18 to 24 months to complete.

The Judd Leighton Foundation will match up to $3 million in contributions made to the Community Foundation.

The Main Library will move existing operations into the unused Brown Intermediate building while the renovations take place.
