SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- On Saturday, you can turn your unwanted items into cash; all in an effort to help the homeless.
Michiana Five for the Homeless is hosting a community yard sale at Howard Park from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Organizers say everyone has something to contribute.
“Check your attic, check your garage, check your basement. Make your trash be your cash. Come and help the homeless and make some money. Come to the community garage sale and help Michiana fight the homeless,” said Clara Ross, event organizer.
If you would like to take part as a vendor, call 574-520-0397.
