Company expanding operations in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A local company has announced plans to expand its operations in South Bend.

The new expansion will cost $2.8 million and will add another 25,000 square feet to its headquarters in South Bend.  The on-site expansion work will start this month and will wrap up in February.

The expansion is because of the company's new contract in the chimerical vehicle industry.
The company manufactures molded plastics for agriculture, marine, commercial and recreational vehicle industries.

The new expansion will add 50 jobs to the company by 2015.
