SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The City of South Bend is one step closer to finishing the new Martin Luther King Jr. Dream Center on Linden Avenue!
Mayor James Mueller stated, "We're marking a milestone in the Dr. Martin Luther King Dream Center Project, a $25 million project here on the west side. And we're doing it by signing the last piece of steel that will go on to the center…. this is a major transformational project here on the west side of the city and it's going to have a huge impact in our community."
The 40,000 square foot community center is designed to be a new activity hub for kids, families, and seniors across the city and is expected to be completed by February of 2025.
