Concert for a Cause raises money for sick children

MISHAWAKA, Ind.- Sounds of music filled Mishawaka for a "Concert for a Cause."

Every year the Mishawaka Fraternal Order or Police has a Concert for a Cause by picking one child the community who's sick and needs help with money.

This all started back in 2003 after two Mishawaka officers, Tom Roberts and Brian Verkler, were shot shot in the line of duty. Both of those officers had kids so it seemed natural a charity in their honor would involve kids as well.

About 400 people showed up and almost $5,000.00 were raised.
