ELKHART, Ind. – U.S. Secretary of Interior David Bernhardt, Senator Todd Young and Congresswoman Jackie Walorski all visited East To West RV in Elkhart on Wednesday.
They made the visit to Elkhart not only to tour the facilities but also praise East To West RV for their commitment to expanding its workforce and provide more jobs and opportunity for Indiana residents and beyond.
This comes as East To West RV joined more than 430 companies pledging their support to providing more jobs to American Workers.
"The RV industry produces, attracts and has so many employees and is signing this new contract with the American worker,” Representative Walorski said. “I can assure you that every secretary that’s appointed right now in Washington sees ‘RV’ across my forehead when I walk into their office.”
Officials say that they hope this new initiative will create more education and job-training opportunities for students and workers for the next five years.
