Construction on Douglas and Ironwood begins Friday

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – Construction will begin along Douglas Road and Ironwood Road Friday, March 12, as crews work to clear trees along the roads.

Crews will be working along Douglas between S.R. 23 and Ivy Road and along Ironwood between Ponader Drive and McElaine Street. Work will begin on both sides of Douglas near Ivy and work its way east towards S.R. 23.

Properties in these areas will be accessible during construction but travelers should expect brief delays and restrictions periodically.

Traffic control will be in place to control two-way traffic with flagging and signs.

Crews expect the clearing to be done by March 24.
