Loud storms are moving north to south this morning thanks to an outflow boundary, but rain will continue to break down throughout the morning. Mid/upper level clouds will slowly clear out and more sunshine is likely by the afternoon as the heat and humidity remains. Highs will peak in the mid-90s today with the heat index in the 105-110 degree range.
More storm redevelopment is possible for northern Michiana this evening into tonight, with better chances throughout Sunday. Some storms later today and tomorrow could be strong, mainly packing gusty wind and heavy rain. The cool front will kick out late Sunday, opening the door to a much drier and cooler work week.
Today: Mostly cloudy with AM showers/storms, then mostly sunny with another storm chance late. High of 94.
Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy with a chance of showers/storms. Low of 74.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers & storms. High of 83.
Monday: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of AM showers, then partly sunny. Highs in the upper 70s.
