Ninety-degree highs for the Fourth of July
Many counties in Michiana are under a freeze warning this morning until 9 AM EDT with temperatures falling into the low 30's. This could kill crops and damage outdoor water pipes that haven't been drained or wrapped. Highs today will only reach into the upper 50's with breezy conditions. Many could see winds gusting up to 30 mph. Showers are likely to impact Michiana tonight as a low pressure system moves through the region. An associated cold front will bring high temperatures tomorrow that struggle to make it out of the mid 50's, but skies will be mostly sunny to start the weekend. Expect more cold weather ahead with the potential to see our first snowflakes Monday night.
Today: Freeze warning this morning. Partly cloudy with increasing clouds and breezy. High 59.
Tonight: Rain showers. Low 39.
Saturday: Mostly sunny. High 54.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy. High 57.
