Happy Wednesday and happy Cinco de Mayo! Today will be cool again, but at least we’ll stay dry and have some sunshine to enjoy.
Out the door this morning, temperatures are in the low 40s. Through the afternoon, we will climb into the mid 50s. Some wind gusts up to 25 mph are possible today, so temperatures may feel even cooler than the thermometer reads.
This evening may be a little cool, but it should be a pleasant time for grilling. Anyone going to make some tacos to celebrate Cinco de Mayo?
Temperatures dip into the upper 30s both tonight and Thursday night. Friday night looks a bit more concerning for a frost, with clear skies and temperatures dipping into the mid 30s.
Daytime highs this week stay in the upper 50s to low 60s, which is below normal.
As for precipitation this week: showers look likely Thursday afternoon and evening.
An isolated shower can’t be ruled out during the day Friday. There is more rain in the forecast Saturday night into the first half of Mothers’ Day Sunday.
Today: Mix of sunshine and a few clouds. Breezy, cool. High 56.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 39.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy. Rain showers by afternoon. High 58.
Friday: Mostly sunny. High 58.
