Cops call 4-year-old's home for overdue library book fines

FREEPORT, Pa. – A 4-year-old Pennsylvania girl got into some deep trouble with the law because she kept her library book out a bit too long.

Police officers actually called her house. Freeport Pennsylvania cops got involved in the unusual case after librarians complained the little girl still had four books.

They were originally due back on October 19 of 2011.The girl's fines totaled $81. The library said it had to do, what it had to do.

The girl's mother returned all of the books and paid the fine, then she apologized.
