Coroner confirms causes of death for St. Joseph County jail inmates

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Coroner's Officer has released the causes of death for inmates at St. Joseph County Jail.

On March 15, 33-year-old Jordan Sanders died from an accidental drug overdose, from combined Fentanyl and Olanzapine.

On July 13, 28-year-old Janette Navarro, died of natural causes from Cardiomegaly, also known as an enlarged heart.

The most recent inmate death was over Halloween weekend. The man was identified as 50-year-old Christopher Shreve.

Shreve's autopsy was performed Monday, but his cause of death has yet to be determined yet.

Shreve was booked on Oct. 29.
