Council members meet to select final candidates for Director of Community Police Review Board

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The South Bend Common Council narrowed down the candidate list for the Director of the Community Police Review Board Office Wednesday night.

Following another public meeting to discuss the candidates, members of the council held a closed-door meeting to file a Recommendation Resolution for Mayor James Mueller, who will ultimately make the decision.

Candidates Stephanie Ball and Charles L. King seemed to be the council's top two choices but up to three can be recommended to Mayor Mueller.

The resolution will go in front of the entire council at their next meeting before Mueller makes the decision.
