Country music fans out for all day concert

Sunday morning kicked off the 21st B100 Birthday Party at the St. Joseph County Fairgrounds.

The parking lot opened at 6:30 a.m. for fans who had camped out all night just outside the fairgrounds.

“I got here yesterday morning at 7:30. First one in line, I do it every year just to see the same people, have some camaraderie, enjoy the day, and listen to the music,” said Jim Camren.

Elizabeth McDaniel was eighth in line and said this is something she looks forward to every year.

“I’ve been coming for a lot of times and it’s been fun and last night was first night camping out and it was fun,” said McDaniel.

The main-stage gates will open at 10 a.m. and the concert will kick off at noon. Country fans of all ages are excited for the day long concert.

“This is my first time, I’m so excited. We’re going to try and win back-stage tickets, I hope we do,” said Amanda Gayle.

Brothers Osborne will kick off the concert at noon, followed by Craig Wayne Boyd at 1:30 p.m.

After a break, A Thousand Horses will go on-stage at 3:00 before Joe Diffie.

Jerrod Neimann will take the stage at 6 p.m.
