COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Berrien County

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The Berrien County Health Department will be hosting three COVID-19 vaccine clinics in during the month of December.

The Benton Harbor office will be hosting a clinic on Tuesday with each version of the vaccine available for anyone five and older needing their first dose or a booster shot.

Two clinics will be available at the health department’s Niles office from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday and December 15. These clinics are walk-in only for people ages 12 and older.

“We’re urging families and adults to consider vaccinating their children and getting a booster for themselves. Researchers have found the COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters to be safe and beneficial to reducing COVID-19 transmission in our community and keeping vulnerable individuals safe, particularly as families and friends gather to celebrate the holidays,” said Guy Miller, interim health officer for the Berrien County Health Department.

Anyone attending these clinics under the age of 18 will need consent from a parent or guardian to receive a vaccination.

All three clinics will have the Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson versions of the COVID-19 vaccine available.
