ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – A crash between two vehicles resulted in two injured this morning at US 6 and CR 21.
Officers responded to a crash around 6:40 a.m. in which a vehicle making a left turn hit an oncoming vehicle head-on.
The first vehicle was westbound on US 6 near CR 21 and attempting a left turn into a private drive when it struck the second vehicle that was traveling eastbound on US 6.
The driver of the second vehicle was extracted from the vehicle and transported to a hospital in Fort Wayne to be treated for a broken leg and head injuries.
The passenger of the second vehicle was transported to Goshen Hospital to be treated for hip pain.
The driver of the first vehicle was not injured and was cited for driving left of center.
