Crash on intersection of Ash Road and Elsie Road injures two

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – A crash on the intersection of Ash Road and Elsie road injures two on Sunday, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash took place at 12:38 pm on Sunday.
A 2011 GMC Sierra was driving north on Ash Road, nearing Elsie Drive, where the driver allegedly ran a red light, deputies said. This caused a crash involving a 2012 Jeep Liberty, according to deputies.
The driver of the GMC Sierra was transported to the hospital for pain in his neck. The driver was also cited for Disregarding a Traffic Signal, deputies said.
The driver of the Jeep Liberty had her family take her to the hospital for her injuries.
