Crews work to get Notre Dame Stadium ready for Saturday

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - On Saturday more than 80 thousand people will be in attendance to watch Notre Dame take on South Florida.

While the fans will be watching the action on the field, Athletic Facility Crews will be keeping a close eye on the field. They are the ones that prep the field for game day. They also watch the field during the game to see if they need to make any quick repairs if some turf is dug up by the players.

It's a yearlong process to get the field ready. From mowing and shaping the field to fertilizing to painting the yard lines. The field crew does it all to ensure that the field product is as good as the players that compete on the field.

Take a look as ABC 57's Mike Pache shows you an inside look at the crew getting ready for the start of the season.
