Crews extinguish house fire in Erskine Park neighborhood

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Firefighters worked to put out a fire at a home in the Erskine Park neighborhood, near the city’s south side, Thursday morning.
According to St. Joseph County Dispatch, the fire happened at a home on Donmoyer Avenue near Carroll Street around 3:40 a.m.
The fire was inside a wall.
Everyone who was in the home got out safely.
Officials did not say how the fire started.
