Criminal past uncovered for murder suspect

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- It's not the first trip through the justice system in Indiana for one man.

Tarrence Lee was convicted of murder in South Bend back in the 1980s. More recently, he was involved in a car accident in Central Indiana.

We spoke with our Indianapolis affiliate WRTV-6 and they were able to give us some information and this video from back in 2010.

Lee faced charges for criminal recklessness causing death and refusing to cooperate with police in Hamilton County.

This was Lee’s semi stuck another vehicle on U.S. 31 back when he worked for Storm Trucking L.L.C and killed a passenger inside.

Rumors have been swirling on Facebook that Lee is an ordained minister at the first AME Zion Church.

According to the pastor of the church, who did not want to go on camera, Lee was studying to become a minister but was never ordained.

He said Lee had not been to church regularly since the semi accident.
