Crossroads United Way of Elkhart, LaGrange, and Noble counties names new leader

The Crossroads United Way of Elkhart, LaGrange, and Noble Counties has a new leader.

Bill Purcell will become the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

He will begin working for Crossroads United Way on Oct. 2, where he will work alongside the current CEO, Bill Reith.

He will then take over for Reith at the end of the year.

Purcell brings more than three decades of extensive experience in educational and non-profit management to the position.

He served as Senior Associate Director of Operations and Catholic Social Tradition at the University of Notre Dame's Center for Social Concerns, Director of the Office for Peace and Justice at the Archdiocese of Chicago, and he also served as the Vice President of Nonprofit training at United Way of Elkhart County in the mid 90s.
