FBI and Secret Service agents are investigating a cyber attack on JP Morgan Chase.
Federal agents are looking into whether Russian hackers are responsible and are using it as retaliation for sanctions the US imposed on Russia.
For now, a JP Morgan Chase spokesperson says they have detected no unusual fraud activity.
“So what we know on details right now are kind of murky. JP Morgan says they have many layers of security and not to worry. But of course, we are worried because this is a terrifying idea,’ says Jeff Macke.
JP Morgan says customers should contact the bank if they suspect their account has been comprimised.
