Cyclist dies in Elkhart County crash

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – One person has died after a crash at the intersection of U.S. 33 and C.R. 40 Tuesday afternoon, the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office reported. 

At 11:11 a.m., an E-Bike was traveling westbound on C.R. 40, east of U.S. 33, when he failed to yield right of way and pulled out in front of a 2020 Dodge Ram traveling northbound on U.S. 33, south of C.R. 40, according to deputies.

The bike collided with the front passenger side of the Ram.

37-year-old Christopher Clark of Goshen was pronounced deceased at the scene.
