Daniels rides hog for charity

INDIANAPOLIS -- Mitch Daniels hopped on his hog to help raise money fro the National Guard.

Hundreds gathered for the annual ABATE ride which kicked off Friday morning at the Indiana Statehouse.

This is Daniels final ride as governor.

Before he hit the road, Daniels thanked the other riders for their donations.

"I thank you very much," Daniels said. "When you support that endeavor you are supporting each and everyone of our guardsmen and those at home, who are sacrificing along with them."

Daniels will leave the statehouse in January after serving two terms.
