Death investigation at Pigeon River Fish and Wildlife Area

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. -- The LaGrange County Sheriff's Department and Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating the death of a woman at the Pigeon River Fish and Wildlife Area near Mongo, Indiana.

Early Thursday morning, deputies and conservation officers responded to a river access within the wildlife area. Deputies found 28-year-old Misty S. McPartlen dead near the Pigeon River.

She is survived by her four children and husband.
