December 15 to be busiest shipping day, FedEx and USPS

 For those putting the final touches on their holiday gifts to drop off at the United States Postal Service, December 15th is expected to be the busiest shipping day of the year.  

For those wanting to get in and out of the post office without extra stress, Mishawaka Postmaster Dean McCool says to pack your items ahead of time.

“The best advice to always give is to mail as early as possible. Having your package ready to go when you come in will help that process,” says McCool.

The post office is not the only one that is feeling the impact of the holiday season on shipping.

FedEx says December 15th is the busiest day of the year, and is also expected to be the busiest day in company history.
