Decorations destroyed in Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- A Mishawaka family is pretty hurt and upset after someone vandalized their front yard Christmas display Saturday night.

The Collins family said eight of their ten 20-foot high inflatable Christmas displays were slashed Saturday night with a sharp object. Their Christmas lights that were strung in their front yard trees were cut as well.

They called police but they say the suspects got away.

"My 2-year-old and 5-year-old just started crying and my 9-year-old and 11-year-old were angry and were wanting to help daddy fix them but we tried but we couldn't," said Dion Collins.

Dion put weather proofing tape on the puncture holes but the solution just isn't working out.
