Demolition begins on Benton Harbor hospital

The demolition of the old Mercy Hospital in Benton Harbor began Monday.
The demolition comes in light of the pretty penny it would have cost to renovate the building.
It would have cost nearly $29 million to complete renovations.
A new owner has not been found yet but the job should be done within a few weeks.
