A dense fog advisory is in place for all of Michiana this morning through 10AM. Low visibilities with some areas seeing less than ¼ miles at times will make roads pretty slow going, especially in rural areas. Clouds will remain throughout the day with highs nearing 50. Warm air surges in tonight, bringing rainfall which could be heavy at times and the chance for thunderstorms. Moderate to heavy rain will continue into tomorrow morning, but it looks like we should see some clearing Tuesday afternoon. More rain showers could move through Tuesday evening, but these will be much less widespread. Alongside this non-severe thunderstorm potential, a big focus for Tuesday will be record-breaking temperatures. The previously set warmest high for January 3rd was just 60 degrees, and highs for tomorrow look to be close to 63. More rain is probable Wednesday afternoon, but we end the week dry and with much cooler temperatures in the lower 30's.
Today: AM fog. Cloudy. High 49.
Tonight: Rain. Heavy rain and thunderstorms are possible. Low 45.
Tuesday: Rain. Some clearing in the afternoon. High 63.
Wednesday: PM rain. High 43.
