Deputies conducting death investigation

The La Porte County Sheriff's Office is conducting a death investigation after a man's body was found in the water in rural Lincoln Township.
Deputies were called to the 4300 block of CR 800 East around 10 a.m. Friday.
When they arrived, they located a black male who was deceased, reports said.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
