Deputies identify man killed in accident on SR8

The La Porte County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the victim of the fatal accident on SR 8 Tuesday night.
Deputies were called around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday after a Dodge Ram drove off the side of the road and landed on its side.
When deputies arrived, they discovered both passengers had been ejected from the vehicle.
Deputies found Anthony Peterson, 48, of Crown Point pinned underneath the cab of the truck.
Peterson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Dawn Pappas, 38, was critically injured and taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital. She is still hospitalized.
Deputies do not know who was driving the truck.
Peterson had a .12% BAC and Pappas had a .21% BAC.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
