Deputies: Intoxicated 18-year-old crashes vehicle, uninjured

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – Deputies say an 18-year-old driver admitted to be “heavily intoxicated” after crashing his vehicle Thursday morning.

According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were dispatched at 3:10 a.m. to the area of U.S. 33 and State Road 19 where a vehicle was rolled over.

The driver, Julian Keultjes, allegedly admitted to being intoxicated at the time of the crash.

He did not suffer any injuries.

Deputies report Keultjes was booked in the Elkhart County Jail for operating while intoxicated.
