Deputies investigate fog-related crash in LaPorte County

LAPORTE COUNTY, Ind.—The LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday investigated a crash at the south junction of U.S. 6 and U.S. 421.
Officials left the scene around 10 a.m. after investigating a personal injury crash that they believe was fog-related.
Police did not say how many people were injured in the crash or the extent of the injuries.
The sheriff’s office is asking drivers to buckle up, activate headlights, slow down, limit distractions, keep an adequate following distance and use turn signals, especially when driving in fog.
