Deputies investigating burglaries to 38 storage units

The La Porte County Sheriff's Office is investigating a series of thefts at a storage lot facility that happened Sunday night or Monday morning.

Deputies said the burglary affected 38 units at the Waterford Storage on CR6752 W. Johnson Road.

Deputies believe there were two people involved in the burglaries.

Deputies and the owner of the facility are working to notify the owners of the units that were burglarized.

Once the owners are notified, they will be able to compile a list of the items stolen.
