Deputies investigating fatal crash on CR669

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. -- Deputies are investigating a single vehicle crash that happened Thursday afternoon on CR669, according to the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were called to the 37000 block of CR 669 around 1:15 p.m.
The investigation revealed the driver of a 2005 Saturn Vue was traveling westbound on CR 669 when he lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree, deputies said.
The victim, a 43-year-old man from Vandalia, died at the scene.
The victim's name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The crash remains under investigation.
