Deputies investigating fatal house fire

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department is investigating the death of a man who was found deceased inside a burning home on Sunday.

The fire department responded to the fire at 52780 CR9 in Elkhart around 12:45 p.m.

While on scene, firefighters found the body of 58-year-old Kenneth Beaudoin inside the home.

The sheriff's department is working with the State Fire Marshal to determine the cause of the fire and the coroner's office to determine the cause of death.

The early findings from the investigation have found no suspicious activity.
